Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions until she made it famous in the national stage space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Small Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film was praised widely and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her acting career between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in more realistic roles as contrast to her image of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also was an accomplished television director on several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. Following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and is a resident of Vancouver ever from then on.
